You do not need to be a coach to learn Deep Coaching, and people join from many different backgrounds. What you will learn in this course has broad application in your life both personally and professionally.

▸ What's the difference between accreditation, credentialing, and certification?

▸ Do you offer payment plans?

▸ Do I need to be a trained or certified coach to join the DCI?
No, you do not need to be trained or certified to take the DCI. People who join come from a range of backgrounds, and are drawn to the program for a variety reasons, both personal and professional.
For those who do not have a coaching background however, we do recommend taking our Life Coaching Basics course before the DCI to gain a strong foundational understanding of coaching. It's not a requirement for the DCI, but it is an excellent way to learn the fundamentals of life coaching.
Your other option is to combine Life Coaching Basics and DCI courses through our Deep Coaching Portfolio Program for a comprehensive coach training.
▸ Is your program ICF (International Coach Federation) credentialed?
The DCI is not credentialed by ICF as an ACTP or ACSTH program – it has been approved by ICF for Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEUs)
Deep Coaching Portfolio Program = 60 CCE Units
DCI = 40 CCE Units
With 60 CCEUs non-credentialed students are eligible to apply for an ACC credential when they apply via ICF's ACC Portfolio Path (click to read what ICF's application requirements are).
With 40 CCEUs, credentialed ICF coaches attain all the units needed for credential renewal. ICF requires 40 CCEUs every three years to renew.
▸ Can I apply CCEUs towards my ICF ACC or PCC credential application?
Yes. With the 60 CCEUs you receive for completing the Deep Coaching Portfolio Program you can apply for an ACC credential.
Whenever using CCEUs toward a credential, either an ACC or PCC, you are required to follow ICF's Portfolio Path.
You will also need to provide documentation (which we will provide) showing that the scope of the training covers all the ICF core competencies.
▸ Are partial CCEUs available?
Yes they are. The Deep Coaching Intensive is approved for 40 CCEUs (CC 31.5; RD 8.5).
If you complete DCI Foundation only, you receive 24 (CC 16.5 + RD 7.5).
Upon completing DCI Mastery, you receive an additional 18 (CC 15 + RD 3).
▸ How many students will be with me in my cohort?
Due to the nature of Deep Coaching we prefer to keep our classes relatively small. You can expect approximately 18-25 people in your cohort.
▸What can I do if I cannot make the class time or if I miss a class?
It's no problem at all to miss a few classes throughout the program. All missed classes can be made up by listening to the recording.

▸ Will I have opportunities to practice coaching?
Yes! The DCI has a peer coaching component designed to put the theory and concepts you are learning into practice. This is an essential part of how Deep Coaching is learned.
